Quality and Test Automation Health Experts

We use a consistent, scalable, and fact-based review process that has been honed across hundreds of clients of varying sizes, that includes all methodologies, automation testing tools, and technology stacks, and can be undertaken at application, project, programme, or company-wide level.

Our approach and process are all about uncovering the health of your systems and software, the state of your testing, understanding the quality risks, and getting visibility over what you don’t know. If you know where your biggest testing or quality issues are, these are the greatest opportunities for automation – and we can provide value realisation in days.

Software Quality Assessment

A Software Quality Assessment will provide a deep dive health check into the current state of your software or testing automation practices when you are unclear on the current health of your software or testing environment, or the adoption and support of your quality culture.

We typically identify business value within the first 2 days, however, two weeks is preferred to complete a deep dive into the current state of your software, testing and quality environment.

The Software Quality Assessment is a collaboration with stakeholders within your enterprise and your key technology suppliers. We review your quality standards, compliance, business alignment, and test practices – both functional and automated, including tools, technologies, and processes – identifying current state vs desired state at an application, business domain and enterprise level.

We benchmark current performance against industry best practice, identifying short and long-term wins and providing an initial roadmap with prioritised return on investment as a way forward. We also aim to provide some test automation proof of value in the form of sample automated testing code, and where applicable, review your current automated testing tool process.

Our tools, expertise and process ensure the health of your software environment becomes visible and transparent, whether something your team are responsible for or something you are reliant on a third party for.

Proof of Test Automation Value

Proof of Concept

We don’t just document reports, we walk the talk. If you already know where your software quality problems exist and where the best opportunities for Test Automation are, or you’ve worked with us on a Software Quality Assessment to identify those, the next step is for us to provide you with a guided Proof of Test Automation Value concept that makes sure you can see test automation tools working to their full capability, and proving return on investment with our recommended approach.

A Proof of Test Automation Value (PoV) engagement does exactly that – provides data and information to inform the return on investment in test automation for a business, a business domain, or one or more applications. Subject to environment access and the ability to use appropriate tools and technologies, Enhance typically generates customer business value within two days.

The focus of a Proof of Test Automation Value (PoV) is automating mundane, repetitive, error-prone tests, areas of development where defects are often found, or where defects are being uncovered in user acceptance testing or in production environments. The right test automations are typically those that are processed most often and are of benefit to developers, testers, and business subject matter experts, saving both time and money so personnel can focus on higher-value tasks. Another key area we see a Proof of Value being utilised, is regulatory compliance, where the assurity of an automated, auditable test de-risks the business from penalties, and the financial and brand damage that can occur from failure to comply with regulations.
